Villa Asti is a fully renovated, luxury stone villa spanning 400 m² located between Roccaverano and Mombaldone, Piedmont, Italy — one of Northern Italy's most prestigious wine regions. Situated within the UNESCO World Heritage buffer zone, the villa features 6 private en-suite bedrooms, a private 4×12 meter infinity pool, a wine cellar with local wines, outdoor kitchen, and panoramic views over the Bormida valley. Villa Asti sits between Roccaverano and Mombaldone, a small hamlet in the Langhe region (Alta Langa), positioned between Roccaverano (12 km south) and the heart of wine country. Approximately 50 km from Asti city, 90 km from Alessandria. This location gives access to both Roccaverano's cheese makers and Mombaldone's wine routes.

Villa Asti sleeps a maximum of 12 guests, distributed across 6 suites. Ideal for family reunions, small corporate gatherings, or close friend groups. Every bedroom has a private bathroom, walk-in closet and a simple and delicate interior, celebrating Italy and Scandinavian roots.

Villa Asti is priced seasonally:
Depending on season, from € 3900,00 - € 8500,00 (2026 prices)
All rates include electricity, water, Wi-Fi, basic pool and garden maintenance, and access to our wine cellar. Minimum 7-night stay (July–August), Saturday to Saturday; 4 nights at other times.

Villa Asti is a fully newly build (2024–2026) authentic stone villa . The villa retains its original Piedmontese stone architecture. The renovation preserved this character while adding modern systems:
- Structural: New foundation, stone repointing, thermal insulation
- Contemporary finishes: Kitchen, bathrooms etc.
- Other additions: Infinity pool, modern appliances (SONOS)

Yes, with limitations. The villa has no public licensing for 100+ guests, so events are limited to private gatherings of 12–50 people indoors and in the garden. We can arrange additional capacity (table rentals, marquees, etc.). Contact us for details: ciao@villaasti.com

Self-check-in is our standard. We provide a digital keybox code the day before arrival. There's no "front desk" — you're independent from day one. If issues arise, we have 24/7 local support via Francesco Molan, our property manager.

The pool is not heated. Usually it stays in perfect temperature during the summer.

Absolutely. The taverna houses over 200 Italian wines — primarily from Piedmont. You're welcome to open wines during your stay.
The wines can be enjoyed for at a set price.

As Villa Asti is located on a hilltop and 800 meters above sea level, there is gentile wind cooling the house.

Summer (July–August) The villa has insect screens on few windows in the bedrooms. The area is quite "clean" — it's not like coastal Tuscany with humid lakes.
Since the altitude is 800 meters and the is a gentle wind, there are very few mosquitoes

Standard check-in is 4:00 PM on your arrival day; check-out is 10:00 AM on your departure day. Early check-in can be arranged for an amount.

The pool is serviced by PG Piscine (local specialists) twice weekly. The garden is maintained by local gardeners throughout July–September. You don't need to do anything.
Just follow basic rules: don't drain spa chemicals into sinks, don't flush non-flushables.

Late arrival is perfectly fine. You'll receive the keybox code in advance.

We do all the cleaning when you leave the house on Saturday.
Empty the fridge completely and leave dishes in the dishwasher.
The villa is not a hotel — don't expect daily maid service unless you book it.
We ask you to use the towels given. You have them for your full stay.

Yes, absolutely. The villa is ideal for work retreats.
The taverna can functions as a meeting space with a large screen and Starlink Wi-Fi. Capacity: 12 people. We can arrange catering, gourmet coffee service, and team activities (wine tastings, hiking excursions).

If you cancel more than 8 weeks before arrival, your 30% advance payment will be refunded minus an €800 administration and re-marketing fee.
If you cancel less than 8 weeks before arrival, the full rental amount is non-refundable.
The security deposit is always refunded, provided there are no damages or outstanding costs.
If we are able to re-rent the cancelled period to new guests, the paid amount will be refunded minus 20%.
We recommend that all guests take out travel insurance covering cancellation.

The villa sleeps 12 maximum. However, we can coordinate with a nearby partner villa for larger groups.
