Enjoy local wines and food in the wine cellar.
At Villa Asti, the wine cellar is slowly coming to life.
It will not be fully completed until 2027, but from summer 2026, guests will already be able to experience the atmosphere of this special room — a quiet, intimate space beneath the house, created for long evenings, good conversations and the wines of Piemonte.
The idea behind the cellar is simple: to celebrate the region we are part of.
Piemonte is one of Italy’s great wine landscapes, known for its Barbera, Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Moscato and, of course, the world-famous wines of Barolo and Barbaresco. At Villa Asti, we want the wine cellar to reflect this richness — not as a polished showroom, but as a warm and rustic gathering place filled over time with bottles from local producers, small vineyards and the surrounding hills.
At the centre of the room stands a rustic old dining table with space for 10–12 guests. The atmosphere is dense and intimate: stone, wood, low coz light and the feeling of being close to the land. It is a place for slow dinners, late-night conversations and discovering the wines that make Piemonte so special.

A this moment you will find a selection of GUASTI and Bersano wines. Celebrated and wellknown producers with many years in the industry.
Soon the selection will be expanded on, mainly from local producers of the area.
Easy access to the wine cellar
From the wine cellar, guests have easy access to the pool area and the gazebo, where the views open beautifully across the valley. The cellar is also placed directly beneath the main kitchen, connected only by the staircase, making it a natural extension of the house for dinners, tastings and long evenings around the table.

Other experiences while you stay at Villa Asti
Wine is not included in the rental price, but guests will have the opportunity to enjoy selected local wines during their stay. We can also help arrange private wine tastings — either in our own cellar, when possible, or directly with local producers in the area.
For a more complete experience, a private chef can also be arranged, creating a dinner around the wines, the season and the flavours of Piemonte.

The wine cellar will evolve gradually. In 2026, it will be partly open. By 2027, it will become one of the most atmospheric rooms at Villa Asti — a small tribute to Piemonte, its producers and the culture of gathering around a table.
